Tuesday Teaching!

You are never too old to learn and grow. Open your mind to the possibilities!!

Learning is obviously my jam, I am a teacher after all. Many doors have opened for me as a result of being open to the possibilities of learning. I try to keep and open mind, no matter how far out of my comfort zone an opportunity may seem.

Case in point - 3D printing, if anyone had told me just a few years ago that I would have three 3D printers printing things me and my students had designed in my classroom, I would have laughed in their face and told them they were crazy. Yet here I am today, with three 3D printers working overtime. Gearing up to help my 8th grade students design cars that will carry a load for our force and motion unit.

By keeping my mind open to the possibility that I could learn, I have this new skill I never in a million years imagined.

On top of that I get to share it with my students. I get to see their faces light up when something they designed is fully realized via a 3D figure.

Keep learning and growing to go beyond anything you could ever imagine and have fun!!!
